Financial assistance
We believe every child should have the opportunity to try Judo, regardless of financial circumstances. We work with the following grant programs that help cover activity costs for low-income families:
- KidSport Canada — Helps kids aged 18 and under overcome financial barriers to sport participation.
- Canadian Tire Jumpstart — Provides funding for kids aged 4–18 to participate in organized sport and recreation.
- The Children's Foundation Free to Grow Program — Supports children in the Guelph-Wellington area with access to recreational activities.

Common questions
Are there contracts or sign-up fees?
Our monthly plan has no contract — you can cancel anytime. The 6-month and annual plans are paid upfront for the full term. There are no hidden fees.
Do I need to register with Judo Ontario and Judo Canada?
Yes. All members must register annually with Judo Ontario and Judo Canada, our provincial and national sports organizations. This is a single combined fee paid through Judo Ontario that provides insurance coverage for training and competition, and gives you access to sanctioned tournaments, gradings, and other events.
